Game này cần phải chỉnh sửa 1 tý trước khi xài cheats. Lưu ý luôn luôn tạo file backup mỗi khi edit.

Sử dụng 1 text editor để chỉnh file mydefuser.ini trong thư mục \advent rising\system . Kéo thanh trượt xuống vùng ko có chữ. Sử dụng phím y và u cho việc này, nếu bạn ko đánh trúng bọn địch trong suốt trận đánh nhưng bạn sẽ dễ dàng đánh trúng bọn chúng khi chúng tụ lại 1 chỗ. Với ký tự y, bạn nhập vào vùng ko có chữ như sau "y=Blizzow 1", nhấn y trong suốt trò chơi bạn sẽ có được sức mạnh siêu nhiên và vũ khí level 5. Với ký tự u, bạn nhập như sau "u=god", bạn sẽ bất tử khi sử dụng phím này trong khi chơi. Bạn sẽ nhận được 1 thông điệp "God mode on" khi sử dụng phím u, nếu ko được nghĩa là bạn đã làm sai, hãy làm lại.
